Suzy Bem­ba first act­ed on-screen in the 2020 film Kan­disha direct­ed by Alexan­dre Bustil­lo, then made her mark in the dra­ma series L’Opéra broad­cast on OCS Max in 2021. In 2023, she appeared in three fea­ture films: Yor­gos Lan­thi­mos’ Poor Crea­tures, win­ner of the Venice Film Festival’s Gold­en Lion; Cather­ine Corsini’s Home­com­ing, which played in com­pe­ti­tion at the Cannes Film Fes­ti­val, and Antho­ny Chen’s Drift, pre­sent­ed at the Sun­dance Film Fes­ti­val. In Novem­ber of that same year, she was offi­cial­ly select­ed by the César Academy’s Rev­e­la­tions Com­mit­tee to be among its 2024 Rev­e­la­tions. In 2024, she per­formed in Jérémie Sein’s Game Chang­ers and par­tic­i­pat­ed in Fam­i­ly Pack, a show con­ceived by Fary and Panay­otis Pas­cot for Canal+ which rein­vent­ed the cult game as a real-world social expe­ri­ence. The same year, Suzy Bem­ba rep­re­sent­ed France as part of the Berlin Film Festival’s Shoot­ing Stars. This year, she is film­ing the series Reformed, cre­at­ed by Noé Debré and Ben­jamin Char­bit for HBO Max. She will next appear in Cliffhang­er oppo­site Pierce Bros­nan and Lily James, a reboot of the Amer­i­can thriller of the same name, direct­ed by Jaume Col­let-Ser­ra and filmed in the Alps.
