Lucky Lu

Lu, hav­ing arrived from Chi­na in New York with the dream of open­ing his own restau­rant, quick­ly sees his hopes crum­ble, leav­ing him mired in debt and invis­i­ble odd jobs. One morn­ing, his wife and daughter—whom he hasn’t seen in years—join him, hop­ing to rebuild a life by his side. For a few days, Lu tries to offer them a moment of hap­pi­ness and to rekin­dle the lights of a brighter future.
