Michael Angelo Covino

A native actor of New York City, Michael Ange­lo Covi­no also pro­duced sev­er­al inde­pen­dent films, includ­ing Mor­gan Krantz’s Babysit­ter, which was pre­sent­ed in com­pe­ti­tion at Deauville in 2015, and Josh Locy’s Hunter Gath­er­er, which received the Spe­cial Jury Prize at the 2016 SXSW Film Fes­ti­val. His fea­ture direc­to­r­i­al debut, The Climb, star­ring his long-time col­lab­o­ra­tor Kyle Mar­vin and him­self, won the Jury Prize at Deauville in 2019. Splitsville, his sec­ond film, pre­miered this year at the Cannes Film Festival.
