About

British film­mak­er Grant Gee first came to promi­nence with the music doc­u­men­taries Meet­ing Peo­ple Is Easy (1998), about the band Radio­head, and Joy Divi­sion (2007). He lat­er com­plet­ed a doc­u­men­tary tril­o­gy com­pris­ing Patience (2012), Inno­cence of Mem­o­ries (2015) and The Gold Machine (2022). He also reg­u­lar­ly col­lab­o­rates with the­atre direc­tor Katie Mitchell on live cin­e­ma projects for Euro­pean the­atres and opera hous­es. Every­body Digs Bill Evans marks his fic­tion fea­ture debut.
