Casey Affleck

As an actor, Casey Affleck has worked with film­mak­ers includ­ing Gus Van Sant, Andrew Dominik, Christo­pher Nolan, David Low­ery and Doug Liman. In 2017, he won the Acad­e­my Award for Best Actor for his per­for­mance in Ken­neth Lonergan’s Man­ches­ter by the Sea. In 2010, he direct­ed the mock­u­men­tary I’m Still Here, cen­tred on Joaquin Phoenix. He returned behind the cam­era in 2019 with Light of My Life, an inti­mate post-apoc­a­lyp­tic dra­ma for which he also served as writer, pro­duc­er and lead actor. Com­pa­ny is his third fea­ture as a director.
