Kelly O’sullivan

Part­ners on and off the screen, Kel­ly O’Sullivan and Alex Thomp­son began their artis­tic col­lab­o­ra­tion with Saint Frances in 2019. Writ­ten and star­ring Kel­ly and direct­ed by Alex, the film won the Audi­ence Award at South by South­west. The duo reunit­ed to co-direct Ghost­light, a dra­ma that received crit­i­cal acclaim at its pre­miere at the Sun­dance Film Fes­ti­val in 2024, fur­ther estab­lish­ing their shared approach to inde­pen­dent film­mak­ing, cen­tered on emo­tion, human rela­tion­ships, and inti­mate sto­ry­telling. Mouse marks their sec­ond film as co-directors.
