Brady Corbet

After begin­ning his career as an actor in films such as Gregg Arak­i’s Mys­te­ri­ous Skin and Lars von Tri­er’s Melan­cho­lia, Brady Cor­bet turned to direct­ing in 2015 with The Child­hood of a Leader, which won awards at the Venice Film Fes­ti­val. He fol­lowed with Vox Lux (2018), before gain­ing inter­na­tion­al recog­ni­tion with The Bru­tal­ist (2024), which received the Sil­ver Lion at Venice and Acad­e­my Awards for Best Cin­e­matog­ra­phy, Best Orig­i­nal Score and Best Actor for Adrien Brody.
