David Lowery

Wis­con­sin-born film­mak­er David Low­ery first worked as an edi­tor before mak­ing his fea­ture debut with St. Nick in 2009. His sec­ond film, Ain’t Them Bod­ies Saints, was pre­sent­ed in Com­pe­ti­tion at the 2013 Deauville Film Fes­ti­val. Return­ing four years lat­er with A Ghost Sto­ry, he won the Jury Prize, the Rev­e­la­tion Prize and the Crit­ics’ Prize. Moth­er Mary, pro­duced by A24, is his eighth fea­ture film.
