About

Lola Quivoron joined the Directing department at La Fémis in 2012, where she created three acclaimed short films: Stand (2014), Son of the Wolf (2015) and Au Loin, Baltimore (2016), all of which won awards at numerous festivals. Presented at the Locarno Film Festival, her graduation film, Au Loin, Baltimore, explores the practice of acrobatic street motocross. This long-term documentary immersion gave rise to her first feature, Rodeo, carried by a cast of non-professionals built around Julie Ledru and Antonia Buresi. Presented in the Un Certain Regard section of the 2022 Cannes Film Festival, the film won the jury’s “Coup de Cœur” Award before embarking on a successful international run. Lola Quivoron is currently editing her second feature film, Grand Eldorado, a family thriller starring Mallory Wanecque, Matthias Schoenaerts, Samuel Kircher and Antonia Buresi, with whom she co-wrote the screenplay.
