Raphaël Personnaz became widely known for Bertrand Tavernier’s The Princess of Montpensier (2010), a role which earned him a César nomination for Most Promising Actor. In 2013, he played Marius in the first two parts of the Pagnol trilogy directed by Daniel Auteuil, before reuniting with Bertrand Tavernier in The French Minister. The following year, he worked with directors François Ozon (The New Girlfriend), Régis Wargnier (The Gate) and Frédéric Tellier (SK1). In 2016, he starred in Safy Nebbou’s adventure film In the Forests of Siberia, adapted from the book by Sylvain Tesson. He went on to collaborate with Roschdy Zem in Persona non grata, Ralph Fiennes in The White Crow, Rachid Bouchareb in Our Brothers and Anne Fontaine in Boléro. This year, his performance in Thierry Klifa’s The Richest Woman in the World earned him a César nomination for Best Supporting Actor. He will soon appear in Martin Bourboulon’s series The Decision on Apple TV+.
