Agnieszka Smoczyńska

Born in 1978 in Poland, she grad­u­at­ed in Cul­tur­al Stud­ies from the Uni­ver­si­ty of Wro­claw, and in Direct­ing from the Krzysztof Kieslowski’s Uni­ver­si­ty of Sile­sia. She also took mas­ter­class­es at the Waj­da School. Her short films Kapelusz (2003), 3 Love (2004), and Aria Diva (2007) have won prizes at film fes­ti­vals around the world. In 2015, she direct­ed her fea­ture debut, fan­ta­sy film The Lure. The Silent Twins is her third film.
