Bilal Hassani

Pas­sion­ate about music, Bilal Has­sani began his artis­tic career by par­tic­i­pat­ing in The Voice Kids in 2015, then by releas­ing cov­ers on YouTube. He quick­ly gained a large fol­low­ing, shar­ing his every­day life and cel­e­brat­ing val­ues of tol­er­ance, respect and self-accep­tance. In 2019, he rep­re­sent­ed France at Euro­vi­sion with the song Roi co-writ­ten with the pop group Madame Mon­sieur. That same year, he released his first album, King­dom, and won that year’s NRJ Music Fran­coph­o­ne Rev­e­la­tion Award, as well as an Olympia Award for his first tour. Bilal Has­sani con­tin­ued his musi­cal career with two oth­er albums and a mix­tape, includ­ing Théorème, pro­duced by the musi­cian Grand Marnier, a mem­ber of the group Yelle. His video Fais le vide was named Video of the Year at the 2020 MTV France Music Video Awards. Always in pur­suit of new forms of artis­tic expres­sion, he has made clear his inten­tion to explore the field of cin­e­ma. He took on his first role in Alex­is Lan­glois’ Queens of Dra­ma, pre­sent­ed at the 2024 Cannes Film Festival’s Crit­ics’ Week. He will next appear in Nino by Night direct­ed by Lau­rent Miche­li, adapt­ed from the nov­el by Simon and Capucine Johannin.
