Camille Chamoux started out studying literature, before training in classical and contemporary theater at the Conservatory, followed by the Théâtre du Rond-Point workshop. After her stage debut in works by Racine and Molière, she made her name in comedy with her first one-woman-show in 2006. The following year, she was tapped to host a comedy segment for Canal+’s Special Edition. Since then, she has created several critically acclaimed shows that earned Molière Award nominations: Born Under Giscard, The Spirit of Contradiction, and Time to Live. She co-wrote Mona Achache’s Les Gazelles (2014) for the big screen, in which she also starred, then appeared in successful comedies like Éloïse Lang’s Dumped (2018) and Patrick Cassir’s Our Happy Holiday (2019). In television, she made her mark in the series La Flamme and The Torch on Canal+. In 2026, she is set to appear in comedies It’s All Good by Patrick Cassir and Anna vs. the Kids by Diane Clavier, and will play Calamity Jane in the Lucky Luke series on Disney+. Her latest one-woman-show, Ça va ça va, is currently on tour.
