About

Camille Chamoux start­ed out study­ing lit­er­a­ture, before train­ing in clas­si­cal and con­tem­po­rary the­ater at the Con­ser­va­to­ry, fol­lowed by the Théâtre du Rond-Point work­shop. After her stage debut in works by Racine and Molière, she made her name in com­e­dy with her first one-woman-show in 2006. The fol­low­ing year, she was tapped to host a com­e­dy seg­ment for Canal+’s Spe­cial Edi­tion. Since then, she has cre­at­ed sev­er­al crit­i­cal­ly acclaimed shows that earned Molière Award nom­i­na­tions: Born Under Gis­card, The Spir­it of Con­tra­dic­tion, and Time to Live. She co-wrote Mona Achache’s Les Gazelles (2014) for the big screen, in which she also starred, then appeared in suc­cess­ful come­dies like Éloïse Lang’s Dumped (2018) and Patrick Cassir’s Our Hap­py Hol­i­day (2019). In tele­vi­sion, she made her mark in the series La Flamme and The Torch on Canal+. In 2026, she is set to appear in come­dies It’s All Good by Patrick Cas­sir and Anna vs. the Kids by Diane Clavier, and will play Calami­ty Jane in the Lucky Luke series on Dis­ney+. Her lat­est one-woman-show, Ça va ça va, is cur­rent­ly on tour.
