Dara VAN DUSEN

Writer and direc­tor Dara Van Dusen was born in New York and is now based in Oslo, Nor­way. She grad­u­at­ed from the Pol­ish Nation­al Film School in Łódź. In 2008, her short film Sig­nif­i­cant Oth­ers was com­pet­ed in Cannes Cine­fon­da­tion. In 2019, her short film The Blind Man, adapt­ed from a short sto­ry by Bertolt Brecht, was nom­i­nat­ed for the Nordic Short Film Award and select­ed for Nordic Panora­ma. A Prayer for the Dying is her fea­ture debut.
