David Greaves

Pro­duc­er, writer, direc­tor, cin­e­matog­ra­ph­er and edi­tor, William Greaves cre­at­ed an exten­sive body of work doc­u­ment­ing, reflect­ing on and cel­e­brat­ing the African Amer­i­can expe­ri­ence. Award-win­ning film­mak­er and jour­nal­ist David Greaves worked as cin­e­matog­ra­ph­er and edi­tor on many of his father’s films. A decade after William’s death, David over­saw the restora­tion and com­plet­ed Once Upon a Time in Harlem.
