Hubert Attal

He direct­ed or super­vised numer­ous doc­u­men­tary films about film his­to­ry, espe­cial­ly on the Amer­i­can one, such as the City Movies series about the spe­cial rela­tions between var­i­ous US cities (New York, Los Ange­les, Las Vegas, Chica­go, Wash­ing­ton…) and films. In 2013, he direct­ed La Dernière trace about the his­to­ry of the Lor­raine region Jew­ish com­mu­ni­ty. He’s cur­rent­ly work­ing on Women On the Road, a film about the bond between women and the road, in Amer­i­can cin­e­ma, as a van­ish­ing line.
