Jeff Daniels

Born in New York, he makes nar­ra­tive-dri­ven doc­u­men­taries about divi­sive social issues. His debut doc­u­men­tary The 10 Con­di­tions of Love made inter­na­tion­al head­lines in 2009 when the Chi­nese gov­ern­ment con­demned all screen­ings for expos­ing the arbi­trary impris­on­ment of their Mus­lim minor­i­ty, the Uyghur. He also made Moth­er with a Gun (2016), about Jew­ish extrem­ism, and Fair Game (2017), about racial issues in football.
