Leah Nelson

A film grad­u­ate of Emi­ly Carr Uni­ver­si­ty, Leah Nel­son direct­ed com­mer­cials before co-found­ing Giant Ant, a Van­cou­ver-based ani­ma­tion stu­dio that has received mul­ti­ple Emmy Awards. Tan­gles, her fea­ture debut as both writer and direc­tor, is an adap­ta­tion from Sarah Leavitt’s auto­bi­o­graph­i­cal graph­ic mem­oir Tan­gles: A Sto­ry About Alzheimer’s, My Moth­er and Me.
