Mikey Madison

Mikey Madi­son is quick­ly estab­lish­ing her­self as one of the most sought-after young actress­es of her gen­er­a­tion, work­ing in both film and tele­vi­sion. She began her act­ing career by appear­ing in sev­er­al short films, includ­ing Alexa Shack­elford Pani’s Box (2013) and Jim­my Gadd’s Bound of Great­ness (2014). In 2015, she played her first lead­ing role in Ter­ry Sanders’ inde­pen­dent fea­ture film Liza Liza: Skies Are Gray. Three years lat­er, Mikey Madi­son made an impres­sion in the role of Sadie, one of Charles Man­son’s mur­der­ous dis­ci­ples, in Quentin Tarantino’s Once Upon a Time in… Hol­ly­wood, along­side Brad Pitt, Leonar­do DiCaprio and Mar­got Rob­bie. In 2022, she starred in the fifth opus of the Scream fran­chise along­side the actors from the first install­ment released in 1996. On tele­vi­sion, she played the recur­ring role of Max Fox, from 2016 to 2022, in the series Bet­ter Things. Her fas­ci­nat­ing act­ing brought den­si­ty and nuance to the series and earned her crit­i­cal praise. She also starred oppo­site Natal­ie Port­man in the series Lady in the Lake, cur­rent­ly broad­cast on Apple TV+. 

Her tal­ent came to light in the film Sean Baker’s Ano­ra, win­ner of the Palme d’Or at the last Cannes Film Fes­ti­val, in which she played the title role of Ani; that of a young woman stuck in her dreams of Cin­derel­la and irre­ducible freedom.
