An actor on the rise, Patrick Schwarzenegger has established himself through performances that blend intensity, charisma, and emotional nuance. Moving effortlessly between film and television, he is building a career defined by eclectic choices that have positioned him among the most promising young talents of his generation.
Born in Santa Monica, Patrick Schwarzenegger graduated from the University of Southern California with degrees in Cinematic Arts and Business. He began his screen career in the early 2010s with roles in Josh Boone’s Stuck in Love, Dennis Dugan’s Grown Ups 2, Christopher B. Landon’s Scout’s Guide to the Zombie Apocalypse, and Kevin Connolly’s Dear Eleanor. On television, he also appeared in Ryan Murphy’s Scream Queens and National Geographic’s historical series The Long Road Home.
In 2018, he landed his first leading role opposite Bella Thorne in Scott Speer’s Midnight Sun. He went on to star in Seth Savoy’s Echo Boomers and Adam Egypt Mortimer’s Daniel Isn’t Real, before appearing in Amy Poehler’s Netflix film Moxie. On the small screen, he joined the casts of The Terminal List, Gen V, the spin-off of The Boys, and HBO Max’s Emmy-nominated limited series The Staircase, before reuniting with Ryan Murphy for American Sports Story: Aaron Hernandez. In 2025, he rose to international prominence with his performance as Saxon Ratliff in the third season of Mike White’s critically acclaimed HBO series The White Lotus.
He will next star in Bunker, directed by Academy Award winner Florian Zeller, alongside Penélope Cruz and Javier Bardem. Upcoming projects also include Rachel Morrison’s Love of Your Life, Beach Read, Yulin Kuang’s adaptation of Emily Henry’s bestselling novel, and The Bookie & the Bruiser, directed by S. Craig Zahler.
