About

Raphaël Per­son­naz became wide­ly known for Bertrand Tavernier’s The Princess of Mont­pen­si­er (2010), a role which earned him a César nom­i­na­tion for Most Promis­ing Actor. In 2013, he played Mar­ius in the first two parts of the Pag­nol tril­o­gy direct­ed by Daniel Auteuil, before reunit­ing with Bertrand Tav­ernier in The French Min­is­ter. The fol­low­ing year, he worked with direc­tors François Ozon (The New Girl­friend), Régis Wargnier (The Gate) and Frédéric Tel­li­er (SK1). In 2016, he starred in Safy Nebbou’s adven­ture film In the Forests of Siberia, adapt­ed from the book by Syl­vain Tes­son. He went on to col­lab­o­rate with Roschdy Zem in Per­sona non gra­ta, Ralph Fiennes in The White Crow, Rachid Bouchareb in Our Broth­ers and Anne Fontaine in Boléro. This year, his per­for­mance in Thier­ry Klifa’s The Rich­est Woman in the World earned him a César nom­i­na­tion for Best Sup­port­ing Actor. He will soon appear in Mar­tin Bourboulon’s series The Deci­sion on Apple TV+.
