Sean Baker

Direc­tor, writer, pro­duc­er, and edi­tor, he is known for the Spir­it Award nom­i­nat­ed films Take Out (2004), Prince of Broad­way (2008), and Star­let (2012). His fifth fea­ture Tan­ger­ine won the Jury Prize at Deauville in 2015. The Flori­da Project pre­miered at the 2017 Direc­tors’ Fort­night and received many acco­lades, includ­ing an Acad­e­my Award nom­i­na­tion for Best Sup­port­ing Actor for Willem Dafoe and the New York Film Crit­ics Cir­cle Award for Best Director.
