Synopsis

A Ukrain­ian pla­toon’s mis­sion: tra­verse a heav­i­ly for­ti­fied mile of for­est to lib­er­ate a strate­gic vil­lage from Russ­ian forces. A jour­nal­ist accom­pa­nies them, wit­ness­ing the rav­ages of war and the grow­ing uncer­tain­ty about its conclusion.
