Synopsis

A writer with­out real pas­sion, Hen­ry Chi­nas­ki, meets Wan­da, alco­holic like him and in process of divorce. The tow out­casts try to live a healthy life but they cling to each oth­er and let them­selves go on aban­don­ment and chaos.
