Kubrick par Kubrick

By Gregory Monro

Synopsis

Stanley Kubrick’s mark on the legacy of cinema can never be measured. His great works are studied by students and masters alike, all searching for answers their maker was notoriously reticent to give. While he is among the most scrutinized filmmakers that ever lived, the chance to hear Kubrick’s own words was a rarity. Through Michel Ciment, film critic and expert on Stanley Kubrick, a series of rare interviews was recorded during their 30 years of relationship. Combined with resources from Kubrick’s family, the film draws an intimate portrait of one of the most recognized, yet unheard, filmmaker of all times.
