Synopsis

In 1917, Lionel, a gifted student at the Boston Conservatory, meets David. A shared passion for traditional songs draws them together. A few years later, David invites Lionel to join him on an expedition through the forests of Maine to collect folk music. These unexpected reunions will alter the course of Lionel’s life in ways he never could have imagined.
