Darius Marder

His first fea­ture film, Loot, won Best Doc­u­men­tary Prize at the 2008 Los Ange­les Film Fes­ti­val. He then co-wrote the screen­play of Derek Cianfrance’s thriller The Place Beyond the Pines (2012). Sound of Met­al is his first nar­ra­tive film, which he co-wrote with broth­er Abraham.
