Visual movie Gremlins : an American Nightmara

Gremlins, an American Nightmare

By Adrien Dénouette

Synopsis

What if Gremlins were more than just a monster movie? Through film clips, archives and interviews, this documentary uncovers the biting subtext of a blockbuster far more complex than it first appears. A horror film, a satire of consumerism, and a critique of the entertainment industry and the Hollywood machine, Gremlins has become a cult classic that, beyond its thrills and laughs, skewers the American Dream and blows apart the very foundations of American society.
